Scope of services.
The Vest Carpenter Designs provides concept design, visualization, planting and lighting concepts, and non-engineered drafting as agreed. These are not engineered structural documents or guaranteed permit-ready plans. Engineering, required approvals, construction, installation, and material purchasing are outside the studio’s services. Builders and relevant licensed professionals must verify requirements and dimensions before construction.

Vest Carpenter Designs specializes in personalized concept design, 3D visualization, and non-engineered drafting documentation. Plans communicate design intent, spatial relationships, and an overall vision. They are not engineered drawings, permit-ready documents, or substitutes for technical documentation required for construction.
A clear path forward.
Although I don’t provide engineering, permitting, or construction services, I work with builders, landscapers, and other industry professionals. Where my professional network allows, I can introduce you to qualified people who can assess the concept and help with the next stages of your project.
Engineering, permits, technical drawings, and construction are arranged separately with the appropriate professionals. Referrals and availability vary by location.
